Hi, this is cntry_rose… or Nanette, whichever way you know me… you know that I am incredibly in love with my farmer… Bruce. We are blessed to live in a rural section of So. Cali… yes, there are rural areas left in Cali! He’s 4th generation dairy farmer… but his heart is in the dirt… truly! He loves to farm… loves to talk about farming… and loves to visit other farmers. That’s how this all got started… this blogging adventure… you see we were going on a trip to New Zealand to tour with a group of farmers and see farms in New Zealand. And… I needed a place to post pictures so our friends and family could see what we were doing. But… that’s just the beginning of the story… or part of the story.
Bruce & I have been married for, hmmmm…. 17 years this coming April 2012! We’ve, between the two of us, 3 adult children, two sons and one daughter. We’ve also been blessed with 4 darling granddaughters. We both love to travel whenever we can and have been able to travel within the USofA quite a bit actually. New Zealand was our first venture out of the country… and now… well, we’re anxious to try that again!
I also love photography, and yes, I’ve been told many times… I take WAY too many pictures! LOL But I get some great shots that way! Gardening is another passion of mine and you will, occasionally, (ok, maybe more than occasionally) see some flowers, plants, trees, birds, butterflies… lizards even, show up on this blog.
So… peruse through our blog… ask questions if you desire… but most of all… enjoy. That’s what we want this blog to do… bring anyone who reads here a smile, a memory of another time perhaps… or a bit of peace from a particular picture.
